BOOKING

Bookings for online open sessions conducted through Zoom are available at the above Calendly link. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided upon the creation of a successful booking.

Payments are made upon booking, via credit card, through Calendly's secure payment system that is integrated with Stripe. A confirmation of payment will be included in the confirmation email that is sent upon the creation of a successful booking.

A fifth of the proceeds from open lessons and consultations will go towards organizations that support BIPOC women creatives. Some organizations we've donated to in the past include WOMANKIND, Black Women's Blueprint, and By Us For Us.

 

Open sessions are available on the booking calendar for booking up to 8 weeks in advance, with additional slots possibly becoming available on a rolling basis, due to cancellations and/or session rescheduling from other students/clients.

ATTENDANCE

Sessions will begin promptly at the start of the booked time, when the Zoom meeting room for the session becomes available.

 

We encourage students/clients to have Zoom ready to go prior to the start of the booked time. For more information about running Zoom, please visit the official Zoom website.

If the student/client does not join the Zoom session within the first 10 minutes of the booked time, the lesson will be considered a no-show, and the Zoom meeting room will be closed. As such, the session will be forfeited, and will not be eligible for rescheduling or for a refund.

A session that starts late due to late attendance from the student/client will not be extended beyond the original booked time. For example, a session booked for 1:30PM to 2:30PM will still end at 2:30PM if the student/client joins the Zoom meeting room at 1:39PM.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

All bookings for open sessions are non-refundable. Cancellations will not be refunded. A no-show is considered a forfeited session, and is non-refundable.

If scheduling conflicts arise, we encourage rescheduling. There is no charge for rescheduling. Note that missed sessions cannot be rescheduled, since they are a no-show.

 

Rescheduling can be done through contacting Claire's team at the email provided upon booking. Rescheduling must be arranged at least 24 hours prior to the start of the originally scheduled session's time. For example, a session booked for Jan 20, 1:30PM must be rescheduled by Jan 19, 1:30PM to a later date.

 

For our mutual records, please provide a reason for rescheduling when contacting Claire's team to reschedule a session.

An acknowledgement email will be issued upon the creation of a successfully rescheduled booking, and the timing of the originally scheduled Zoom meeting will be shifted to the new time.
